Dinning Hall Extension
Site Preparation and Protection
This phase includes setting up the site for construction and implementing temporary protection measures such as screens to safeguard surrounding areas.
Demolition and Groundwork
Involves stripping out existing structures, removing canopies and carrying out foundational groundwork to prepare for the next stages.
Structural and External Walls
Erecting the steel frame, constructing external walls up to damp-proof course and laying the ground floor slab to establish the building’s framework.
Roofing and Weatherproofing
Covers the installation of the roof structure, Bauder roof coverings for waterproofing and the addition of rainwater goods to manage drainage.
Internal Fittings and Finishes
Encompasses the installation of windows and doors, insulation, plastering walls and fireproofing steelwork, followed by suspended ceilings, decorations and flooring.
Final Touches and External Works
Includes the installation of window blinds, drainage and soak-away systems, and external finishing touches such as tarmac resurfacing to complete the project.
