Modernisation of five classrooms and a new fire escape
Materials Matching
Bricks were used to match the existing masonry construction of the school building.
Climate Control
Fan coil units were installed to provide improved heating and cooling within the refurbished areas.
Acoustic Ceilings
Gyptone Quattro 41 acoustic ceilings were installed in the modernized classrooms and spaces.
Thermal Performance
Insulation was added to the roof and walls to enhance the thermal performance of the refurbished areas.
Electrical Upgrade
The electrical systems in the areas affected by the works were fully refurbished and modernised.
Classroom Fittings
New specialist furniture was installed in the Science, Food Technology, Art/Vocation and Design Technology Classrooms, along with new window systems, robust steel doors and frames and new timber cladding above windows.
