Fry Art Gallery Essex

The work comprised of the construction of new extensions and internal refurbishment at the Fry Art Gallery, including the following:-

a) Concrete foundations, including underpinning existing walls, reinforced concrete ground floor structure and retaining walls.
b) Structural steel framework.
c) Cavity brick external walls.
d) Timber framed flat and pitched roofs, insulated and covered with GRP flat roofing and slates to the pitched sections.
e) New timber external door and ‘Velux’ roof lights.
f) Internal partitions.
g) Internal doors, including forming new openings.
h) Floor finishes.
i) Decorations.
j) Internal fit out.
k) Construction of accessible toilet and kitchen.
l) Mechanical works.
m) Electrical works, including new fire and security alarms.
n) Underground drainage.
o) External landscaping.
p) Refurbishment of existing gallery.
