Seventh Floor Rooftop Fence To Make Playground Safe For Use
Site Establishment & Protection
The work site was set up, necessary scaffolding and access points were installed, and temporary protection was implemented to safeguard existing structures and play equipment.
Ground Preparation & Excavation
We then prepared the ground by removing existing walkways and cut into soft matting to create the necessary space for new foundations and drainage systems.
Structural Foundations & Drainage
This critical stage focused on constructing the formwork, installing essential drainage ducts, and setting the fence and gate posts in preparation for concrete pours.
Concrete Pours & Curing
Concrete was then mixed manually and poured into the prepared forms, followed by a vital curing period to ensure the structural integrity and strength of all new concrete elements.
Installations & Features
Once the concrete had cured, the project progressed to Hoisting in and erecting fence panels and gates, installing composite seating.
Finishing Touches & Handover
The final phase involved laying paving slabs around gates, making good any disturbed areas, thorough jet washing, addressing all snags and ultimately clearing the site for project completion..
